As an American I admit to not knowing much about Canadian foods. I guess I figured that Canadians ate pretty much the same things as Americans and for the most part they do. While visiting BC a few years ago I became enamored with Dill and Ketchup flavored chips something hard to find here in the states. Canadian cuisine is more than just chips, while researching fun food crafts for our Maplelea dolls I came across some delicious recipes! Here is one that rose to the top of my list of things to try in both doll and people size! BeaverTails were originally cooked as bread over an open fire. Made of whole wheat and crispy on the outside, a BeaverTail resembles a flat donut. It reminds me of the Navajo FryBread that we have here in America.
